First of all, you should know how long I tried to edit out the stray piece of hair in my photo above. You know the one...always out of place...always in my eyes. And then I thought, if I made my hair perfect in the photo, how would anyone recognize me when I'm out and about in the world?
Besides, the shot above was taken while I was doing one of my favorite things in life--signing books and meeting readers!

Book Two of The Body Hunters -- COLD CASE CONNECTION -- has been nominated for a prestigious RITA® Award for Series Romance-Suspense and Adventure. The winner will be announced on July 18 at the RWA conference in Washington DC. Between now and then, I'll be concentrating on finding a way to breathe in my gown for that evening!
