Bio
Once upon a time, I wrote a story. That story took first place in a contest, and I won a pack of markers. I was hooked. Was the magic to my motivation the prize? Or the amazing rush I got from looking at a set of pictures and conjuring an entire world? I'm betting on that last thing.
Many years (I'm talking many) have passed since that day. There have been numerous starts and stops, yet here I am. Again.
With eighteen novels and more than one million copies sold, I'm proud to say I am a USA TODAY and WALL STREET JOURNAL bestselling author. I've been nominated for a RITA and am a RIO Award and two-time Gayle Wilson Award of Excellence winner. My additional honors include National Readers Choice, Holt Medallion, NJRW Golden Leaf, Booksellers Best, and Bookbuyers Best award nominations.
If you've read all that, thanks! More than anything, thanks for reading my books, dropping me notes, and allowing me to do the things I love most. Wonder. Imagine. Write.
